All Skwamu chalk bags are South African made and unique.

They are hand-sewn from African fabric, mainly Shweshwe, from King Williams Town, in the Eastern Cape.

Skwamu selects cotton from Zimbabwe and South Africa.

The West African or batik fabrics are mostly made in Kenya, Mozambique and Tanzania.

Bags include a colour-matching waist strap and a boulder-brush elastic loop.
